Adam Soliman is a barrister and solicitor who specializes in business law and civil litigation. He provides legal counsel to clients and handles a range of matters from corporate restructuring to commercial litigation and defamation cases.

By combining expertise in both business law and civil litigation, Adam brings great value to his clients in the event that their needs overlap across both fields. He takes a relationship-focused approach to his work with a primary focus on helping clients build trust and confidence in him.

Adam’s areas of focus in business law include incorporating companies, shareholders agreements, partnership agreements, joint venture agreements, contract review and drafting, commercial lease review and drafting, corporate restructuring, debt recovery, dispute resolution, buying and selling businesses, commercial property conveying, and development projects.

His work in civil litigation includes cases in business litigation, property disputes, shareholders disputes, creditor / debtor disputes, and claims for negligence and damages.

In addition to his robust work experience in business law and civil litigation, Adam is passionate about international environmental law and human rights. He teaches and lectures at several universities including the University of Hong Kong, Dalian Maritime University (China), and University of Calgary. He also taught at the University of British Columbia where he is now pursuing his PhD. Through 2014 and 2015, Adam was a visiting scholar at Harvard Law School where he spent the academic year lecturing and working on his research.
